My extremely gifted climber was out of control and so I ordered this play yard. She had already managed to escape our 22" Todays Kids play yard and so I was shopping for something 30" or so. This one fits the bill and has been goood so far. I have had it for a month. I also have the 2 panel extension which creates a "playroom" that is inviting and spacious enough for a couple more people to come inside, sit down, and play.
Now, my toddler is contained and the mess is contained. Owning the play yard has inspired me to organize her toys, putting some back, as I rotate them in and out of the yard. My daughter has benefitted from the "new again" toys, thus making confinement less of a drag. Since we now have all of her toys exclusively in the play yard, she actually wants to go inside her "playroom".

this looked good - sturdy and strong, inside or outside use, gate - but i gave no thought to the smooth wooden floors in our house. WHAT A LAUGH. once inside it, our 11 mth son pushes it around the house like a baby walker. does not retain its shape, sections wobble as he cruises around….lots of entertainment, but not secure. i’m getting a steel one - BabyDan do a few different models inc one with a pad.

This is a really nice product. Easy to move, secure and I do not have to worry about saftey issues with the product. Sturdy yet "lightweight" considering the job it needs to do.
would even consider expaning this.

Easy to fold and keeps the little ones in. Just know that they will soon get big enough to climb, push or crawl under it.

The play yard works fine as a home for our dog. It is sturdy, of good quality, conveniently movable, and relatively attractive. Closing and opening the gate can be a bit cumbersome at times, but overall it is easy to operate. Amazon had the best combined purchase/shipping price of several sites we investigated for this item.

Gifts And Prizes For Party Fun

Posted by admin on June 4, 2009

Sweet dreams are laced with thoughts of gifts and prizes. Not a day goes by in the life of a child without the bewildering wish for things that they don’t have. The situation is exacerbated when adults send them to birthday parties carrying gifts intended for someone else who is getting many such things.

That is why the perfect birthday party includes gifts and prizes for the enjoyment of all the guests. These can include certificates, ribbons or small toys. Keeping the age of the party guests in mind it may be possible to award music CD’s from the bargain table or similar nicer but not expensive things.

Children of elementary school age or younger, are really thrilled by a prize won in a simple game of skill or chance. The gifts and prizes for these need not be extravagant or elaborate. It needs only be the sort of thing that gives the imagination of a child room for expression. Young girls love fruit scented perfumes in tiny bottles. Young boys love to collect tiny toy cars in a variety of styles.

The activities can be even simpler than games. The gifts and prizes can be sealed in goody bags and placed in a toy box or other receptacle. Guests could then draw numbers from a hat or fish bowl. The guests could then go in order of higher to lower, for instance, to pick out a grab bag.

Prizes and gifts might be part of a scavenger hunt. Give guests a list of things to find in the recreation room or yard that have numbers on the bottom that correspond to items used as gifts and prizes. Make sure that no two lists are in the same order so that everyone doesn’t head to the same item at the same time.
