My extremely gifted climber was out of control and so I ordered this play yard. She had already managed to escape our 22" Todays Kids play yard and so I was shopping for something 30" or so. This one fits the bill and has been goood so far. I have had it for a month. I also have the 2 panel extension which creates a "playroom" that is inviting and spacious enough for a couple more people to come inside, sit down, and play.
Now, my toddler is contained and the mess is contained. Owning the play yard has inspired me to organize her toys, putting some back, as I rotate them in and out of the yard. My daughter has benefitted from the "new again" toys, thus making confinement less of a drag. Since we now have all of her toys exclusively in the play yard, she actually wants to go inside her "playroom".

this looked good - sturdy and strong, inside or outside use, gate - but i gave no thought to the smooth wooden floors in our house. WHAT A LAUGH. once inside it, our 11 mth son pushes it around the house like a baby walker. does not retain its shape, sections wobble as he cruises around….lots of entertainment, but not secure. i’m getting a steel one - BabyDan do a few different models inc one with a pad.

This is a really nice product. Easy to move, secure and I do not have to worry about saftey issues with the product. Sturdy yet "lightweight" considering the job it needs to do.
would even consider expaning this.

Easy to fold and keeps the little ones in. Just know that they will soon get big enough to climb, push or crawl under it.

The play yard works fine as a home for our dog. It is sturdy, of good quality, conveniently movable, and relatively attractive. Closing and opening the gate can be a bit cumbersome at times, but overall it is easy to operate. Amazon had the best combined purchase/shipping price of several sites we investigated for this item.

Theme Party Music Makes A Fun Festive Event

Posted by admin on April 20, 2009

Party music sets the mood for activities during life’s festive occasions. The food, decorations, games and guest list will wilt like a garnish in the sun if the party music isn’t chosen correctly or is missing entirely.

That’s why DJ’s are sometimes hired rather than leaving the music up to chance. There is a talent involved in choosing the right mix of tunes and adding spoken continuity. Often the formula goes something like: fast music followed by slow music and then the fast song and so on. Woe be to the gathering that plays fast songs repeatedly to the exhaustion of the guests. Conversely the host who has selected sedate music to be played continuously will probably find that the snoring will eventually drown out the music.

Selecting party music that is acceptable to a diverse guest list is a challenge as well. If the party gets too rowdy people can get in heated disputes over the musical selection. It may be better to veer away from everybody’s favorite songs. This can go a long way to affect crowd control. It’s sometimes best to choose something similar to elevator music. Familiar tunes used in unusual arrangements can have a good background affect. After all the party music should encourage guests to not only enjoy the music but the other party activities as well.

Party music should be selected in the same way that the menu is chosen. Party foods need to be simple and liked by all guests and so does the party music. A selection of party music doesn’t have to be one guest’s rock concert and another’s country western dance hall. It needs to be familiar sounding to everyone and not prevent conversation. If people can also dance to the party music then that doesn’t hurt things either.
