We chose this car seat because of the great reviews on other websites as well as the consumer reports ratings. It can be a bit heavy for some people but my daughter is now 7 months and 16lbs and I’m still able to carry her from the car to the house no problem, and sometimes I carry her even farther than that, up stairs, etc. I use it with the Snap n Go stroller as well as the Baby Trend Expedition jogging stroller and I’ve never had any problems. I like that the headrest is adjustable. The straps are easy to adjust and the carseat itself is easy to get in and out of the car with the base.

Being the dad, I was the only one strong enough to put the handle up and down. My wife, grandparents, friends, and babysitter couldn’t do it. We returned it for a second and had the same problem. It was so bad we ended up eating the cost and buying a Graco Snug ride which worked just fine. Also this seat does not come with head insert for infants and the strap is very short and as a result is hard to use. Buyer beware.

We have overall really liked many things about this seat. The latch system is very easy to install and the release button for taking the seat off the base is easy to get do as well. The material is easy to wipe off and the cover is not to difficult to remove to wash. The triangle handle is easier to carry. I love that you can adjust it without rethreading the straps, great feature!!!
Cons:
-I wish there was a safe level indicator on both sides of the seat instead of just one.
-Sometime the straps get twisted and it is really annoying to get the buckle back into position.
-The strap adjustment pull between the legs isn’t as easy to pull as I’d like.
-I HATE that the carrying handle is so hard to release to fold down. The buttons require a large amount of force to push both buttons at the same time while crocked in the backseat (this doesn’t bother my husband). For this reason I wouldn’t buy again but will use for the next kid.

CONS:
handle is hard to release even for husband
not as well padded as others
PROS:
is lighter than some others
got it because i needed a double stroller
easy to install in car with latch system

I actually hate carseats because they are usually pretty heavy and bulky. This one is pretty nice. Not as heavy as the carseat we originally purchased for our 3.5 month old. I love the triangle handle.
I know that the little buttons on the side are a little hard to press in when you want to move the handle, but I don’t think its all that bad.
This carseat has very high safety ratings. The adjustable head cushion is a major plus, super easy to adjust and super easy to loosen and tighten 5-point harness.
I love the handle that unlocks the carseat from the base, very easy and smooth, no more struggling like a mad woman to release the carseat from the car or the stroller.

You?re planning a big party celebration, and to save money, you consider searching for discount party supplies. You?ve never bought party supplies at a discount outlet in the past, so you?re a little uneasy about making the transition from retail to discount purchasing. The main thought that comes to your mind is whether the price you pay is truly a discount price, or if it?s just a way for the retail outlet to sell its product.
Buying from a discount party outlet can be an uncomfortable experience for those who have no experience. For the newcomer to discount party supply buying, the best way to be certain that you are getting a bargain is to comparison shop. Even if you choose to make your purchases online, you can do your comparison shopping in your local neighborhood party stores to get a feel for the prices that retail suppliers customarily charge for the items you need.
Another concern that some people have with discounted prices is that they are equating price with quality, thus something that costs less must be lower in quality. Nothing could be further from the truth, especially when you are purchasing party supplies. After all, how much quality do you need in party plates, napkins, streamers, banners, and other items that are more than likely going to be used once and delegated to the wastebasket afterwards? For the supplies that are reusable, be assured there is no reduction in quality because of the lower price. Discount party suppliers, whether it be those in your neighborhood or online, are able to charge lower prices because they have lower overhead, a lower profit margin, or they buy in bulk, so that their supplier charges them a lower price.
Do not feel uncomfortable buying discount party supplies, they are every bit as good as those you buy at full price. Use the savings to buy some supplies for your next party or to add some extra touches to your party. Have fun saving some money!

Whether you are planning a Mardi Gras party for some friends or a celebration for your town, you’ll need Mardi Gras costumes. No celebration is complete without the costumes in the traditional purple, green, and gold that symbolize Mardi Gras. If you’re doing a big celebration, the costumes are part of the parade, but if you’re having a celebration, you can have your guests dress in traditional costumes for the season.
Mardi Gras is celebrated forty-seven days before Easter or the Tuesday preceding Ash Wednesday. Because of that, the date can vary from early February to March, but the season itself begins on January 6th and doesn’t end until Fat Tuesday. Because of the size of the holiday in terms of people, you want to make sure you plan your party and find the guests know to purchase or rent their costumes early enough for them to be available. You do not, have to buy the costume, of course; any store that rents Halloween and other costumes will have Mardi Gras costumes or be able to order one for you.
Even if you are planning a small celebration at your home, if you have enough guests you can still have a small parade in your neighborhood. You can also make a small float and just have your guests walk through your neighborhood. This will also allow you to encourage your spectators (neighbors) to shout the “throw me something, mister” traditional so that he or she can go home with beads or another trinket that is symbolic off Mardi Gras and its centuries old tradition. If you are unable to find the supplies you need locally, do not hesitate to search online because there are many sites listed that advertise the sale of Mardi Gras costumes and other items related to the holiday.
