Best Kid Rock Concert

Posted by User Imageadmin on January 31, 2008

I wanted to get my friend something great for his birthday and I knew that Kid Rock was coming to town. I had to find a way to find the best Kid Rock tickets that I could so I did a lot of searching until I finally found the perfect ones. I paid the money and we both went to the concert and had the time of our lives.

Kid Rock tickets are a great opportunity to have for any of his concerts. They are wild and crazy and you are never going to know what will happen next. The music is loud and creative and all of the people are dancing and singing and having the best time of their lives. Every song was a hit and we could not have asked for a better show.

Kid Rock sang all of his best songs and some other ones from other artists. It did not matter if the song was his or some one else’s’, he was the one singing and that made it the best time. We all started to sing along with him and danced the entire night away.

There were people of all ages with their Kid Rock tickets in hand and waiting to get into the gate. They were all so excited to get to see their favorite rock star in person. There were young people and there were older ones too. They were all there for one reason and that was to see Kid Rock perform.

He fits all kinds of people’s personalities. They are all so excited to see him and could only hope for his autograph. That would be a dream come true for a lot of his fans. They were hoping to catch just a peak of him to see if they could get just a touch of his skin. Everyone was yelling and cheering him on and wanted more and more as the night came to a close.

Kid Rock did come out for an encore and everyone was singing and screaming for more. He was the best and defiantly worth every penny. I would recommend for anyone who gets the chance to get Kid Rock tickets and take in the show. They will have the best time of their lives and want to see when the next concert is coming to town. If you did not like him before, you will love him after.

Creative Ideas For Kids Halloween Costumes

Posted by User Imageadmin on January 29, 2008

Children usually anticipate Halloween for two reasons. The first is that they have a chance to dress up as their favorite characters. The second is that after they dress up, they get to go door to door, asking neighbors for candy. And the more candy you give them, the better. For these reasons, it is important that the kids Halloween costumes be perfect.

Kids Halloween costumes come in all kinds of different styles. Some choose to dress up as their favorite superhero or cartoon character. Others choose more traditional Halloween costumes such as witches, black cats, and monsters. They can also be happy, like clowns, or scary and modeled after popular horror movie characters.

Often, the kids Halloween costumes that the children wear will depend on the parents. Some won

Bodybuilding, Weight Loss, and Exercise Tips - Goal Setting for Long Term Results

Posted by User Imageadmin on January 28, 2008

My name is Greg Ryan. I am a fitness expert, professional bodybuilder, personal trainer to movie stars, former employee of Kathy Smith and have over 50,000 hours of paid personal training sessions under my belt. For the last twenty years I have been able to continually make progress, stay consistent and have some fun in my quest to be in better shape.

This is not because I am anything special or know some magic formula, but because
I have learned a few goal and program-setting techniques that I would like to share
with you. Start incorporating them into your plan today and notice the difference
tomorrow.

The very first question I ask each new client that comes to me is, “How long have
you been on the same workout program?” Without fail most, if not all, say, “Over six
months.” They do not understand why they are not progressing.

Rule #1:

Change your routine every twelve weeks: Your body adapts to exercise like our
bodies adapt to taking antibiotics. For some reason after a period of time it gets
used to the same routine.

Rule #2:

Have a rest period between twelve week segments: Take a few days off between the
twelve segments refreshes you and allows your body to recuperate.

Rule #3:

Keep to ball rolling: There is a let down after you have reached your goal. When you
realize that you are going to reach your goal, start thinking of the next one. This
keeps the momentum going and decreases the chance of having a let down.

Rule #4:

You need a carrot: You need some tangible reward for your efforts. You need
something urgent, something you just have to have. Find it and it will motivate you
in the down times.

Rule #5:

Follow an intensity curve: Within the twelve week segment, ramp up your intensity
levels in your workouts. Start at eighty percent and by week two you should be at
100 percent.

Rule #6:

Set one main goal a year: Set one big goal a year with seasonal ones leading up to
the big one.

Start with these and see how your motivation goes up through out the year.

The Benefits of Music for Your Child

Posted by User Imageadmin on January 27, 2008

As I sit here writing, I can hear in the background my children humming and singing while they play. My four year old son is trying to make up his own rhyming lyrics to a melody he’s made up on the piano and my six year old daughter is reading the lyrics for a song she is practicing for a concert.

Music has had such an impact on our lives. And I know it comes in most part from the simple task of playing children’s music during our day. Together we listen, sing along, dance and even read the lyrics.

For babies and young children music is a wonderful way to learn language and new vocabulary. And they love it. I have never met a young child that doesn’t love music.

Listening to music with your children can create a stimulating atmosphere for your home. Different music can be used to evoke different moods and can be used to create different environments in your home.

When my children were babies, I used to play calm classical music before bedtime. Even now we play classical music when they do art (or when I need a some peace and quiet). At other times we use livelier music to encourage creative movement, development of rhythm, dancing and singing along with. I don’t think we could survive a long car ride without one of our favorite cds.

I have also found music very beneficial for their education. Through music, children (and adults alike) are able to more easily memorize facts. Songs can be used to learn phonics rules, math facts, lifestyle skills and so much more. We now try to find music that teaches about topics the kids are interested in. And I find myself having the opportunity to relearn many subjects including Spanish.

Early exposure to a variety of musical styles can help develop a life long appreciation of music. When your children are young, you as the parent have the opportunity to influence positively the music that the family purchases. You can introduce many different styles and topics before their peers take over in later years.

The greatest benefit of music is that it allows us as a family to spend quality time together. Music is an entertaining alternative to television. With music playing in the background we can still have conversations, read or do other activities. For some strange reason my children seem to quarrel less when their music is playing. We’ll often sing along to lively songs while we fold the laundry and tidy up. Music can be played while we bake cookies or craft. Unlike excessive television which can sometimes distract from our time together, music is something that we can all share together, enhances our home life and promotes family time.

Nowadays there are so many exceptional children’s artists and variety of albums to choose from. It can almost be overwhelming. Fortunately, the internet now allows us the luxury of being able to easily search for music, learn about the artist, read reviews and listen to samples of their work. The following select websites listed below will give you a great start. Good luck, have fun together and allow your child to grow up loving music!

Kids Favorite Parties

Posted by User Imageadmin on January 26, 2008

As kids grow older, they develop their own personalities and the desire to choose what they like the best for their own parties. Every child is different and is drawn to a theme that peaks their interests the most.

The child who is playful and full of spirits might be attracted to a Spongebob Squarepants theme. In this case, serve hamburgers or “Crabby Patties” for lunch. Supply a variety of toppings and allow the kids to create their own “Crabby Patties”. Set up a table outside with a lot of different types of bubble wands so the kids can blow bubbles like Spongebob.

For the kid who is full of mystery and enchantment, Harry Potter might be their theme. Hire a magician to be the entertainment for the party. You can set up a craft table with all of the items that they would need to make their own magic wands; the wands can also serve as the party favor.

The child who is full of imagination and dreams might be attracted to the Fairly Odd Parents theme. For this theme, rent an inflatable jumping structure- any shape will do because at a Fairly Odd Parents party anything you wish for comes true. Let your child’s imagination run wild. If they want pink root beer floats to be the only beverage, then use strawberry ice-cream topped with whipped cream with a couple of drops of pink food coloring in it.

There is no shortage of choices and no limit to a child’s imagination. A child’s birthday is the only day of the year that he or she can have his or her every wish fulfilled. Involve your child in the planning process to make it a memorable experience.

Kids Will Love a Charter Bus Trip to Atlanta

Posted by User Imageadmin on January 25, 2008

Trying to think of a place to take the kids to during the holidays that is affordable and fun? Try getting a charter bus to Atlanta this holiday season because the kids love buses and they will love a fun-filled city like Atlanta. A charter bus will definitely make your trip more comfortable and convenient. There’s no worry about trying to figure your way around Atlanta, scratching your head over the maps you have and begging the kids to keep quiet in the back of the car! This is a classic case of traveling woes with kids. But with a charter bus, the kids will be comfortable, entertained and more importantly, parents can hang around (no need to drive) in the charter bus chatting with the kids and discussing the last location. Seriously, the charter bus will be your lifesaver!

First take the charter bus to the Atlanta Zoo - they’ll love you for it because kids love animals. Atlanta Zoo is one of the very few US zoos where pandas can be found! The charter bus will hang around waiting for you while you and your kids have fun in the zoo, playing in the zoo’s playground too. The charter bus driver can tell you that the Atlanta Zoo, although not the biggest or coolest zoos in the world, is a quality place where kids will love. Once you and the kids are done with the Atlanta, get the charter bus to take you to your next location which is

the Atlanta Botanical Garden, of course! Relax and enjoy yourself throughout the ride in the expansive charter bus and discuss the zoo trip with your kids. The charter bus should have large comfortable seats for your whole family to hang around to review the photos that you’ve taken too. Laugh, giggle and have some fun while the charter bus gets to the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

and when you’re done (which might take the whole day) and have had your fill of Atlanta’s Zoo and Botanical Garden, get back into the charter bus and it’ll take you back to your hotel or perhaps to a nice little kid-friendly restaurant where all of you can just chat about the day’s events.

Now, isn’t that just perfect!

Piano Laws Conduct Command Performance

Posted by User Imageadmin on January 24, 2008

1. The Law of Focus - What we focus on gets our attention.

Write down why you decided to give your child piano lessons. Post this where you will see it everyday. Have your child draw a picture of themselves accomplishing their musical dreams and tape it on the refrigerator.

2 The Law of Commitment - Commitment is the glue that holds our priorities in tact.

Commit to providing the financial resources necessary for your child to succeed in piano. In addition to lessons, purchase an adequate keyboard or piano that will be enjoyable for your child to practice on.

3. The Law of Encouragement - Follow the Rule of “Seven to One.”

Give your child seven statements of encouragement to every one critique.

4. The Law of Character - The best way to love children is with character.

This is simple, just remember that your child is a different character than you are. Viewing your children as individuals helps them discover their unique gifts. Together these different gifts work together to make a family.

5. The Law of Complaining - Not all complaining is meaningful.

When students complain about practicing it doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t like piano or want to learn to play. It means they are human. Gently redirect your child’s focus to their piano goals (the drawing on the fridge).

6. The Law of Fun - It’s fun to keep your sense of humor

The point of music is to lift the spirit. My students often want to be a little silly at their lessons and let some of their creativity out. I enjoy this too. I can’t count the number of silly songs I’ve made up during lessons. Piano is another way for parents to connect with children and have more fun together. Over the long run, adding creative fun into the mix of hard work and persistence leads to a lifetime of musical enjoyment.

So there they are - Six Piano Laws that command a lifetime of musical enjoyment, while helping students take charge of their piano success.

To learn the best way to share the gift of music with children visit Amazon.com for my Piano Adventure Stories for Children These exciting Piano Adventure stores for children ages 5 to 11 feature the loveable characters, Mrs. Treble Beary and her passionate, new piano student, Albeart Littlebud. Children love following along with Albeart to Mrs. Treble Beary’s piano studio in Musical Acres Forest. Here they learn what piano lessons are all about in a fun way that kids readily understand and appreciate! Piano students laugh and giggle while reading “Little Bear’s Musical Garden” and “Little Bear’s Piano Goals.”

For the Kids With Nowhere to Turn

Posted by User Imageadmin on January 23, 2008

One of my favorite songs is “You`re Never Alone” by Hatebreed because the lyrics say, “this is for the kids who have no where to turn, who have nothing to live for, you think you haven’t the will to persist, you have to search within yourself. While listening to that song I was inspired to write how it is effective in bodybuilding. Being a teen is rough and sometimes coming an end to oneself is what develops your character. There is light at the end of the tunnel if you keep going.

Everyone goes through problems in their life, but it`s what you do about them that defines who you are. The first thing you need to do is find the source of the problem. Who or what caused all the grief? Don`t become discouraged with yourself if the situation is out of your control, but if you feel the problem was indeed your fault, you need to do everything in your power to find a way out.

When looking for a cure, a positive attitude is much better than a negative one. Keeping a positive attitude is much easier said than done, but is crucial if you want to overcome the problem. Go slow, take small baby steps to get where you are going, and develop a list of goals you will try to accomplish for the day. If your goal is to get better grades, you need to decide if you`re spending enough time doing your homework. WRITE DOWN that you need to spend more time doing your homework. That way you remind yourself what needs done to improve your grades. It`s the same way with any other goal, writing your goals down on paper will give you the motivation to mend on whatever goal you are trying to improve on.

You`re not going to get everything right the first try so having a backup plan will keep you from failing completely. Setbacks are inevitable, but you have to keep moving on no matter the circumstances. A good example is deciding what you want to be when you get older. Many times you go to college expecting to major in a certain area, and then decide that you want to switch to something different. If the person has a backup plan then that person would avoid the decicion of what their going to be all over again.

Life is hard and sometimes it feels like there is no way out. This happens to almost everyone so don`t get discouraged when you encounter problems. Remember, have a positive attitude, keep a list of how to overcome your problem slowly, and always have a backup plan in case your main goal fails. Until next time, cya!
